Domain Renewal & Expiry Policy

1. Renewal Notices

We will send email notifications to your primary email address registered in our portal:

  • Alerts 30 days, 7 days, and one day of expiration

Keep your contact email details current to ensure you receive alerts.

2. Expiration Timeline

Upon prompt renewal in the Grace Period, the domain services (DNS, email, etc.) are typically reactivated immediately, though DNS caching may cause delays. Above date and expiration timeline varies according to registry and tld.

3. Redemption Fees & Restoration

If renewal falls into the Redemption Period, you’ll be charged the standard renewal fee plus a redemption fee (USD 75 to USD200) to restore your domain before deletion.

4. Transfers During Expiry

  • Domains can be transferred during the Grace Period.

5. Registry Policy Compliance

You must comply with the NameSiloPublic Domain Registry, ConnectReseller(ownregistry), and any applicable ICANN or registry policies, including:

  • Maintaining accurate WHOIS/contact information
  • Adhering to domain lifecycle rules, grace periods, redemption, drops, auctions, and transfers
  • Respecting 60-day transfer lock periods and related registry requirements
  • Abiding by Uniform Domain‑Name Dispute‑Resolution Policy (UDRP) or other applicable dispute processes.

Failure to follow these policies may result in loss of renewal rights, restoration options, or domain transfer ability.

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • You are fully responsible for renewing your domains on time.
  • Taregan IT is not liable for missed renewals due to outdated contact info or reminder failures.
  • Once a domain reaches Pending Delete / Redemption state, Taregan IT cannot recover it and accepts no liability.

7. Recommendations

  • Renew early, as renewal time is always added to the existing expiration date.
